Generally on the whole, it was a good refreshing trip. Just dun really like the part where they come to Bangkok, they MUST eat thai food. If you are going to somewhere where they are selling authentic thai food, i will go with that. But if its just normal thai food, i guess anywhere will do. why do we have to travel here and there? not that our group is the most mobile of all, not when we walk around, we walk in an extended single file... my point is, if u are having normal thai food, just make do with it ANYWHERE NEAR...its not ANY different from those in Singapore. Heck, we can even have western food for all it matters. Oh well, my dad wants to let the leaders of the wolf pack to decide, so be it. i guess im the stray lone wolf in this pack. hurhur.

And then theres the weather. it was REALLY HOT! HOTTER than HOT! All of us literally melted under the sun. Water water and lots of water. No wonder they need the Song Khran Festival. Massive Ponding sessions!

Why do they claim that thai people are very friendly people when the taxi drivers and tuk tuks are so rude and tries to cheat tourists of their money? Why do they claim that when people go to Bangkok and they are given warnings repeatedly by airport/hotel staff and travel guides/guidebooks? Or maybe they meant they are nice, friendly people cos they WARNED you first before trying to cheat/steal your money? not that we were cheated/robbed of our money...but nearly...we wanted to go some seafood place and they send us to this seafood place that charged exorbitant prices and well, a couple of us have already been there done that and know that the drivers are given commission for bringing tourists here to get their "head chopped off" and so, we walked off and head back to our hotel to get some recommendation from the hotel staff. This is the fourth time i have been to Thailand, and if i were to say, people living in the city are not nice/friendly at all. Those living outside of Bangkok are probably much suited to the nice/friendly phrase.
