45more days to U.S! =)

Thai Airways called and informed me that my flight from BK to JFK has been suspended as they are not having the flight schedule anymore. So now im left hanging in the air, on waiting list for Nippon Airways from BK to Tokyo, Tokyo to JFK. Gonna go down next week to give them some pressure...

Day day night cycle starting tomorrow once again-> meaning a weekend of work and slogging. =)
While my colleagues were teasing me about how they are going to make FULL USE of their TWO days off while i am working, I am really fine with working as long as there aint much "dirty" work to be done. Still feeling stagnant around my job scope. but its good that im going to have some different kinda job scope to cover (hopefully) once im back from my US trip.

Less than 5 days since i bought the game... i have completed it. YES! i have completed Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Feels like i have finished watching a series-long movie. The deeply intriguing plot could easily become movie material though a 2-hours long movie would not do it justice... As this is the last of the series, ending it in a way that really catches your heart and put you at ease is not going to be easy, not when Snake practically grew up with those who stick by it years ago but Hideo Kojima managed to do that. A ending perfect for a hero.

Work-wise, i was informed by my colleague that they may start to put me as Shift Duty manager for some night shifts if there are turn-outs. =) that's good. I hope they do. At least i am NEARER to doing something different. yay!

Truly the best team of the year, Celtics won the long-awaited NBA Championships 131 to Lakers 92 shattering L.A Lakers hopes of a comeback by the start of 4th quarter.

Watching the players celebrate their win, i can really feel the passion gushing out...all the hardwork, tears, sweat, waiting and time put in for this one moment...will we ever experience that in our lifetime? i wonder... oh well maybe im just abit envious, that's all...

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Guns of the Patriots

Behold the game of the year! Im simply awe struck by the graphics of the game... its like playing a movie and you are the director... it tells alot when my dad came into my room to see what i was doing and asks, "what movie is it?" LOL. Mega Snorts.

Game-makers are getting really smart nowadays... how the hell can Snake have a ipod with him during his infiltration but thats besides the point, the point is i can really scroll, choose and listen to the music on the playlist like an ipod! on a sidetrack, on Grand Theft Auto 4, i can use a phone to call people or receive text messages...date people out...heck i can even surf the internet using the pc and keying in the address...and its really amazing how intuitive it is...one will use it just like they use it in real life... no special buttons or combos to press...key the numbers/type the keyboard, and/or go to the menu and look at your contact lists blah blah...

But MGS4 is not just about the gameplay...one particular trait of this series is the long narrative storyline that can sometimes take up a heavy amount of your playtime, but that's where it really shines. Firstly, the graphics are great and secondly, the story really brings you into Snake's world and not to mention, all the colorful characters from the game, from the baddies to the goody good...you cant help but feel for the characters... this is supposedly the last game to end the series...oh man...i hope they wun really end it... =(

Lakers holding on to the championship dream!

With a few lucky misses from the Celtics in the last few minutes, Lakers managed to hold on to their faint hopes of bringing back the championship. Boston Celtics was the better team once again for the most part of the game with Lady Luck shining on the Lakers. Game 6 on Wednesday morning with the game at Boston. No team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in any playoff finals in NBA history, will LA Lakers rise up to the challenge? Stay tune~ =)

Yup! I bought the playstation 3! hoho... metal gear solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was not in store at Best Denki CompassPoint...have to wait till tomorrow to lay my hands on them. Nevermind...i can play my Grand Theft Auto 4 first... =)

Series 3-1 to the Celtics

Looks like Boston Celtics are set to win the playoff series with a great comeback from 21 pts deficit to win Game 4 by 6 pts! Yawns...wake up so early to see L.A Lakers lose a 18 pts lead from 2nd quarter...damn...should have slept more...

Looks like there's going to be quite a few shuffling in place for the upcoming months in my terminal. cant wait to go for my vessel trip and do something different...but i guess that all have to wait until im back from U.S. =)

Night shift

I think i paid back my zzzz debt last night...i slept for 17 hrs straight...haha...fully recharged for my night shift! chiong ah~~~ ahhh.... cant wait for the newbies to come in~~~ quick quick quick~~~ hurhur... My off days are coming~~

Packed! Awaiting a new bookshelf!

Throwing everything on my bed to start the clean-up...it was so messy and dusty i have to change my bedsheet after all the ruckus. but the aftermath, shiok! =0

My comics... that's half of my collection... the rest all tucked neatly inside my storeroom...I threw away all my magazines and all barang barang collected over the years and soon i think its time to sell away all the comics...hur...

Just finish my Day Night Night cycle...back to my Day Night cycle tomorrow...the new batch of OEs are coming in July and there will be some reshuffling intra and inter terminal expected coming July. It's a brand new start and its time to start learning new stuff once again. start ing to learn the ropes of a Shift Duty Manager, cant wait to do something different...hur...

I managed to clear a pile of mess from one corner of my room...yay! but another new pile comes up one day later...zzz...
no worries, im going to ikea tomorrow...going to get some boxes to store all my barang barang. hopefully i will be able to get some suitable shelves for my room to put my stuff. =)
