Just settled down. back at home around 7plus. Bathe. Have dinner. and then now...im blogging...
been a looooooong day at work...well its 8am to 6pm today...its not THAT long, but its the talks and moving around that are dragging and some are damn boooring...hahz...well, i guess today's aim was to let us know all the people we will be working with and meet up with all the "big heads". (not referring to SiokEe...its the big bosses...) =)
My terminal manager told us, "For the first year, all of you are liabilities." =(
Cruel words. But i think there's some sense to it. The turnover rate for this job is Very High...like every month one will quit? lol. i guess thats why we seem like liabilities to them...cos if they spend time and effort to teach us and we just quit after that, its really kind of a waste of energy and assets. Personally i think this line of job if you can survive well for the first year, everything will be smooth going...but if you are having a hard time, i think can get ready to say bye bye le.
Despite all the harsh words said and demanding expectations put up (there are ALOT of KPIs and if we don't meet it, we are expected to give a very good reason for it. hence the stress level which some couldn't take it, i guess.), i'm still quite positive about the job. =D Whatever happens, we shall see as it goes. for now...OFFICE hours till next Tuesday!!! that means i can go for bball on Wed, BBAXN on Sat and BBQ on block E rooftop on Sat night. =D
