Guess where I am! =D
The Sacred SeatOkay its Saturday night and i was on NIGHT SHIFT. the second time. this time im more well prepared. slept for 1.5hours before i went to work. The nap sure helped me in staying awake longer...my sleepy spell came at around 5am... looks like i need to sleep more before i go for my night shift...next week i have THREE night shifts....good training for me to stay awake... LOL
Well anyway, I went on top of the CRANE! yub thats me in the crane in the first pic. Secretly took that shot while the operator was doing his own stuff...hurhur... Guess how high it was? hmm...maybe about 5storeys or 4? imagine yourself trying to control a spreader to grab onto the containers from so high. and if you think this is high, wait till you get to the quay cranes (cranes at the wharf side). went up there on Friday...woah... its 34 metres high...so about 7 - 8floors high...and the speed is much much much faster...i stayed there for about 2hours and feel like vomitting after that...all kinda wobbly...hahaha...not because of the height...but because of the speed and the position we are in ... as we do not know when the operator is moving forward and stopping, theres alot of jerks and inertia, its like sitting on a roller coaster and it goes forward, grab, then trolley back to the wharf side then trolley forward again...repeat that 30 over times and *pui*... but i like it up there...its like playing game with 2 controllers...hurhur...
